Medford sits in Middlesex County, roughly 28 miles east of our Northborough shop, and about 9 miles inland from the coast. That puts a siding replacement job here inside our normal working radius, so the crew arrives with the right materials on the first morning instead of making a supply run mid-job. We also work regularly in Malden, Somerville, Arlington, so the drive is routine rather than an excursion.
Close enough to the coast to catch salt on an onshore wind, and far enough inland to take a hard freeze — this band gets both. The combination is harder on an exterior than either alone, because salt keeps working at the fixings while freeze-thaw keeps opening the seams they hold shut. Medford sits 9 miles in from the water — far enough that homeowners here rarely expect salt damage, close enough that we still detail for it. That is exactly why we help Medford, MA homeowners choose complete siding replacement that stands up to it.
The housing stock across Middlesex County runs to centre-entrance colonials, garrisons and expanded capes on established suburban streets, with antique farmhouses still standing on the older routes. Between Malden, Somerville and Medford itself we see that whole range in a single working week, which is why a siding replacement quote here starts with a survey of the wall rather than a price per square.
Medford borders Malden, Somerville, Arlington and Winchester, and we run siding replacement jobs across all of them from the same shop — so scheduling a Medford project rarely waits on crew availability.
With an expected lifespan of 30–50+ years, siding replacement is a long-term investment for Medford homeowners — ideal for homes with aging, damaged, or outdated siding that need a complete exterior transformation. Owner Ezequias Lobo personally oversees every job since 2007. Explore our siding replacement across Massachusetts, or pair it with vinyl siding and clapboard siding. Every job starts with a free on-site assessment — no surprises, no pressure.
