Cambridge sits in Middlesex County, roughly 27 miles east of our Northborough shop, and about 8 miles inland from the coast. That puts a siding replacement job here inside our normal working radius, so the crew arrives with the right materials on the first morning instead of making a supply run mid-job. We also work regularly in Somerville, Brookline, Medford, so the drive is routine rather than an excursion.
Onshore wind carries salt further than most homeowners expect, and it lands on walls that still see a full freeze-thaw winter. We detail for both: fixings that will not corrode, and laps that stay closed when the wall cycles above and below freezing. Cambridge sits 8 miles in from the water — far enough that homeowners here rarely expect salt damage, close enough that we still detail for it. That is exactly why we help Cambridge, MA homeowners choose complete siding replacement that stands up to it.
The housing stock across Middlesex County runs to colonials and garrisons on mature suburban lots, interleaved with capes that have been extended once or twice and the occasional pre-1900 farmhouse. Between Somerville, Brookline and Cambridge itself we see that whole range in a single working week, which is why a siding replacement quote here starts with a survey of the wall rather than a price per square.
Cambridge borders Somerville, Brookline, Medford and Watertown, and we run siding replacement jobs across all of them from the same shop — so scheduling a Cambridge project rarely waits on crew availability.
