Watertown sits in Middlesex County, roughly 24 miles east of our Northborough shop, and about 12 miles inland from the coast. That puts a hardie plank job here inside our normal working radius, so the crew arrives with the right materials on the first morning instead of making a supply run mid-job. We also work regularly in Belmont, Newton, Waltham, so the drive is routine rather than an excursion.
Close enough to the coast to catch salt on an onshore wind, and far enough inland to take a hard freeze — this band gets both. The combination is harder on an exterior than either alone, because salt keeps working at the fixings while freeze-thaw keeps opening the seams they hold shut. Watertown sits 12 miles in from the water — far enough that homeowners here rarely expect salt damage, close enough that we still detail for it. That is exactly why we help Watertown, MA homeowners choose Hardie Plank fiber cement siding that stands up to it.
The housing stock across Middlesex County runs to centre-entrance colonials, garrisons and expanded capes on established suburban streets, with antique farmhouses still standing on the older routes. Between Belmont, Newton and Watertown itself we see that whole range in a single working week, which is why a hardie plank quote here starts with a survey of the wall rather than a price per square.
Watertown borders Belmont, Newton, Waltham and Arlington, and we run hardie plank jobs across all of them from the same shop — so scheduling a Watertown project rarely waits on crew availability.
With an expected lifespan of 30–50 years, hardie plank is a long-term investment for Watertown homeowners — ideal for homeowners seeking premium, low-maintenance siding with the look of real wood. Owner Ezequias Lobo personally oversees every job since 2007. Explore our hardie plank across Massachusetts, or pair it with vinyl siding and clapboard siding. Every job starts with a free on-site assessment — no surprises, no pressure.
