Somerville sits in Middlesex County, roughly 28 miles east of our Northborough shop, and about 8 miles inland from the coast. That puts a vinyl siding job here inside our normal working radius, so the crew arrives with the right materials on the first morning instead of making a supply run mid-job. We also work regularly in Cambridge, Medford, Malden, so the drive is routine rather than an excursion.
Onshore wind carries salt further than most homeowners expect, and it lands on walls that still see a full freeze-thaw winter. We detail for both: fixings that will not corrode, and laps that stay closed when the wall cycles above and below freezing. Somerville sits 8 miles in from the water — far enough that homeowners here rarely expect salt damage, close enough that we still detail for it. That is exactly why we help Somerville, MA homeowners choose vinyl siding that stands up to it.
The housing stock across Middlesex County runs to colonials and garrisons on mature suburban lots, interleaved with capes that have been extended once or twice and the occasional pre-1900 farmhouse. Between Cambridge, Medford and Somerville itself we see that whole range in a single working week, which is why a vinyl siding quote here starts with a survey of the wall rather than a price per square.
Somerville borders Cambridge, Medford, Malden and Arlington, and we run vinyl siding jobs across all of them from the same shop — so scheduling a Somerville project rarely waits on crew availability.
With an expected lifespan of 20–40 years, vinyl siding is a long-term investment for Somerville homeowners — ideal for homeowners seeking low-maintenance, cost-effective exterior protection. Owner Ezequias Lobo personally oversees every job since 2007. Explore our vinyl siding across Massachusetts, or pair it with clapboard siding and hardie plank.
