Milton sits in Norfolk County, roughly 30 miles east of our Northborough shop, and about 7 miles inland from the coast. That puts a hardie plank job here inside our normal working radius, so the crew arrives with the right materials on the first morning instead of making a supply run mid-job. We also work regularly in Quincy, Braintree, Dedham, so the drive is routine rather than an excursion.
Close enough to the coast to catch salt on an onshore wind, and far enough inland to take a hard freeze — this band gets both. The combination is harder on an exterior than either alone, because salt keeps working at the fixings while freeze-thaw keeps opening the seams they hold shut. Milton sits 7 miles in from the water — far enough that homeowners here rarely expect salt damage, close enough that we still detail for it. That is exactly why we help Milton, MA homeowners choose Hardie Plank fiber cement siding that stands up to it.
The housing stock across Norfolk County runs to colonials and garrisons on settled streets, mixed with ranches and raised ranches from the post-war building years. Between Quincy, Braintree and Milton itself we see that whole range in a single working week, which is why a hardie plank quote here starts with a survey of the wall rather than a price per square.
Milton borders Quincy, Braintree, Dedham and Randolph, and we run hardie plank jobs across all of them from the same shop — so scheduling a Milton project rarely waits on crew availability.
With an expected lifespan of 30–50 years, hardie plank is a long-term investment for Milton homeowners — ideal for homeowners seeking premium, low-maintenance siding with the look of real wood. Owner Ezequias Lobo personally oversees every job since 2007. Explore our hardie plank across Massachusetts, or pair it with vinyl siding and clapboard siding. Every job starts with a free on-site assessment — no surprises, no pressure.
